Can't even imagine your morning without coffee? Is your mind already spinning up and filling you with energy? But how healthy is coffee? Can everyone consume it at all? And if so, when and how do we drink our coffee?

Coffee consumption has become part of most cultures around the world. The interesting thing about this is that we’re talking about a bitterdrink that might not even be called delicious, but as a result of perfect marketing, it has still conquered the entire globe. Today, coffee has become so much a part of our lives that we look strangely at anyone who doesn’t consume it. When I talk to my guests as a nutrition and wellness coach, some of them would rather take on the daily suffering and various aches of pain than give up on enjoying coffee. This, of course, means a very strong addiction, which does not hurt to be self-aware. But don't worry, you can do it any other way! Drink it occasionally or even regularly, but definitely in moderation - I do the same and I recommend it to you.

This is because coffee has a beneficial effect on the body, but unfortunately, it may not be recommended at all. People who live and eat healthily can drink it occasionally and in a way make this refreshing drink a part of their lives, of course only by sipping consciously and without guilt. So when and how should you consume black and what aspects should you consider in the process? I want to help you with these issues now.

1. Don't use it to wake yourself up!

Coffee is consumed by many because of its antihypertensive and energizing properties because it can turbo-charge the body, especially in the morning. Consumed in minimal amounts, it is even effective in a healthy or low blood pressure person. When, on the other hand, you wake up tired regularly and can only trigger a morning “stroke,” it’s better to think about what you can do to keep from being skinny and sleepy. Temporarily, of course, this early “wake-up call” may seem like the perfect solution, but in the long run, problems can’t be covered up or escaped either. Referring to scientific articles, we can safely say that frequent consumption of coffee does not cause a heart attack, but do not try to maintain energy levels with it in the long run. Rather, exercise regularly, get enough sleep and pay attention to the signs in your body. In case of hypertension heart problems, or iron deficiency it is better to avoid coffee.

2. Only in moderation!

Since the plant is the ingredient of this breakfast invigorator - even the coffee bean - is completely natural, so it is not surprising that it has a beneficial effect on the body. So much so that because of its antioxidant content, the enema made from it ( in Gerson therapy) uses it for therapeutic purposes in cancer. Despite all this, I definitely do not recommend consuming 3-5 coffees a day or getting most of the antioxidants into your body this way. For this purpose, choose fresh vegetables and fruits, which are also natural sources of many vitamins. If you consume this morning refreshment daily or occasionally, and only in small amounts and are not addicted to it, then you have no reason to worry, it is not a drug, after all, and its positive effect on the body is also proven. It has even been observed that moderate coffee consumption has a distinctly beneficial effect in the prevention of diabetes, dementia, and many liver diseases. Another interesting feature of this drink is that it has a different effect on the body of people with different blood types. If no health reason precludes the use of this invigorating juice, we may be more permissive for blood groups A and B. In their case, coffee can have a neutral or even beneficial effect on health. There are several things to consider in this case, but even in this situation, moderation is the main consideration I tend to recommend. that it has different effects on people with different blood types. 3. The ideal coffee time

When you are struggling with reflux, a stomach acid problem, or other intestinal inflammatory syndromes, do not cringe at the belief that coffee is not harmful to your health. If you’re having a hard time giving up on it, there are a few things you should pay attention to about it. Never drink on an empty stomach, always choose water first in the morning! When you wake up anyway, your body needs fluid and it is not suitable for replacing black. After breakfast, however, you can come to the fragrant drink, a great time for this is the period between 9-11 o'clock, then it will give you a little extra energy. The other ideal part of the day is to have your favorite refreshment in the afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm. Although I prefer to have matcha or green tea at this time usually recommend it because, in addition to caffeine, they also contain l-theanine, which reduces anxiety and soothes. I found for myself that while the afternoon coffee woke me up at night, I slept peacefully after the matcha. So, schedule your black sip in the morning, maybe the early afternoon.

4. The espresso percolator is the best!

Always choose good quality coffee and consume it as naturally as possible with as much water as possible - as your favorite invigorating drink has a dehydrating effect. It is no coincidence that in a quality café, in addition to the refreshing juice, there is a glass of water. For the instant version, look closely at the ingredients, but I don’t recommend the filter coffee version ( comment: tea bag style popular in the US), mainly because of the toxins in the filter. Although capsule coffee makers are very fashionable these days, let’s face it, due to their aluminum and furan content, they may have some detrimental effects on health. I prefer to be on the safe side - especially if the goal is to avoid heavy metal loading - so I don’t recommend the capsule type at all. Another disadvantage of this device is that it needs to be cleaned very often, otherwise, the bacteria that grow in it will be eaten along with the black. The classic steel / inox coffee maker ( espresso percolator), well, that's it! So if you’re already having coffee, choose classic cooking or a quality instant version. A frequently asked question in my practice is whether a decaffeinated version is better? Although some caffeine is extracted from it (everyone always stays in it), but how do they do it all? While studies show that the procedure has no harmful side effects, it is also known that methylene chloride, which is used to reduce caffeine, harms the nervous system (e.g., it can cause headaches, dizziness, and irritability). That’s why I confess that natural is always better: make coffee real coffee, just as you should learn the right “method” of making coffee. if you’re already having coffee, choose classic cooking or a quality instant version. 5. The point is in the little things

So with small refinements - that is, not on an empty stomach, at the right time, and in the right way - you can safely consume coffee, but skip the sugar and sweetener. Make your refreshing drink thinner - with water - because it makes it healthier. Since I often find that a lot of people struggle with milk sensitivity among my guests, I mostly recommend sugar-free cereal or seed milk for coffee as well. If you want to lose weight, you should look for a lower-calorie version. Today, more and more instant coffees are being made into which medicinal mushrooms are put. So if you drink black, always choose quality and as much healthier solutions as possible. What works for many of my guests is mixing chicory with coffee.

After all, consuming a steaming, fragrant refreshment hides the possibility of stopping in our rushing everyday life. According to those who turn to me, often it is not the taste and effect of the coffee itself that matters, but the relaxation, the conversation, the pleasant moments that they get through and next to it. Therefore, if you are having coffee, do not fold it up quickly, but give it your way and sip it with pleasure. Be it a ritual, a real seance. And in the company, for those who don’t drink coffee, there should be another option for refreshment. After all, green tea, fruit teas, and many healthy drinks conversation and time spent together can be just as enjoyable. The most important thing, however, is not to make coffee the only source of energy and joy in your life. Develop a healthy daily rhythm while allowing time to relax, take regular walks in nature and breathe deeply into the fresh air - all of which will invigorate, refresh and refresh your brain. So you’re sure to be on a great path in life, whether you’re doing it with or without coffee.
