Crispy strudel with sour cherries- tastes like home




When I visit my parents, my Mother knows that I love very much the "rétes" which she makes best. You can make it salty or sweet. What I love about this pastry that it is very thin and I can eat a lot of fruits ;)

My personal favourite is with sour cherry and semolina but you can make it with apples, poppy seed, cabbage or cottage cheese ( sweet or salty).

This time, I made it. I have not used much oil ( only some coconut oil- so it stayed crispy but you can put some more oil or water if you wish).

I made semolina with sour cherries and no sugar.

If you like light pastries, I do recommend making your own strudel sometimes :)
